Jenay invited Lauren to stay with her in San Jose and spend Fanime weekend together in 2014. When Lauren met up with her to go down to San Jose, Jenay casually mentions that her boyfriend's best friend thinks she's cute and they'll be joining us for the weekend.

We didn't make a big deal out of it, but we got engaged in April 2026. After being together for so long, a formal fancy engagement didn't seem necessary.
